This is an interesting fic, found in my wanderings through FFN. Set post-OotP, it appeals to my love of Snape torture and the writing is solid. Basically, Snape gets his ass kicked by Voldemort one time too many and just seriously starts to lose it. Dumbledore sends him off on vacation with Remus along to make sure he doesn’t do himself harm. It’s actually an interesting read, and if Snape cries a time or two, I thought it worked pretty well given the story is all about how Snape is trying to hold it together and not being completely successful. I enjoyed the story. There’s not quite enough story, and I’m not a huge fan of Snape/Remus, but it was a good read. Really needs a sequel or something to pull it all together and I might rec it. As it stands- a decent read.
