Post-OotP and the kids are back at school. Harry is in a deep, deep funk and Snape insists he snap out of it. What follows is an odd/inderesting mix of action/adventure, magic and sex. It’s not bad- I rather liked the beginning, though both Snape and Harry were a bit too nice for this stage in canon. But the story reads kind of schizo and has a kind of WTF premise. Seems Voldemort wants Snape to have sex with Harry for no reason anyone can figure out. Including me. Dumbledore supports this, mostly to protect Snape and his cover. When Snape fears he’s falling for Harry, they let the story leak to the Ministry in order to have a legitimate reason to stop. When the ministry investigates, Snape basically tells them it won’t happen again, and they go along with it. About this time, Harry’s falling for Ginny. Like I said- WTF? I mean, it’s not bad, but I had to swallow too many plot points and it seemed like about three different stories all woven together in a way that was less than cohesive. Hell, I really don’t even know how to classify it, though I’m going to stick it in ‘slash’.
